Our services comprise testing of waste water, trade effluents, groundwater, surface water, landfill leachate, soil, waste and other products to assess their quality, impact on the environment and waste classification. This role will require someone with a ‘can do’ attitude, a commercial approach and demonstrable attention to detail. The successful candidate will report to the Environmental General Manager and must be hardworking, reliable, and possess excellent communication & inter personal skills. Key responsibilities: Preparation & Raising of VAT invoices for waste sales using WIMS software system. Processing of legislative paperwork associated with the above including correspondence with NIEA. Corresponding with customers to request order numbers/ information in order to raise & submit invoices. Running End of Month Financial Reports & distributing as required. Preparing Customer Reports, both scheduled & on request. Processing weekly timesheets. Handling/directing initial communication enquiries via telephone & email. Keep all records and filing up-to-date and in order as per defined procedures. Operating Franking Machine for post. Ad-hoc support for existing waste administrators & Sales Team. Provide a professional and informed customer service via email, telephone and face-to-face. Resolve customer issues, and where necessary escalate to waste management. As duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed and amended in consultation with the post holder. The post holder will carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by Senior Management. Essential Criteria: Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C and above to include English & Mathematics. 2 years previous experience in a busy office environment in a customer facing role with call handling responsibilities. Excellent Communication Skills. Competency in the use of computer software including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) & Google Drive. Proven attention to detail, particularly with financial transactions. Proven ability to work on own initiative & problem-solve as well as working in a small team environment.
