*Job Overview*We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for culinary excellence. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining high-quality food production.*Duties** Lead and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling team members.* Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality in food preparation.* Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.* Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.* Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies to minimize waste and control costs.* Implement and maintain POS systems for efficient order processing and tracking.* Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among staff members.* Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.*Experience** Proven experience in a kitchen management role within the restaurant industry is essential.* Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.* Experience with interviewing, training, and managing kitchen staff effectively.* Familiarity with POS systems is preferred.* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.* Background in cooking or bartending is a plus, enhancing your understanding of kitchen operations.If you are passionate about leading a culinary team to success while ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as our Kitchen Manager.Experienced BOH leaders only please; pay range is flexible and commensurate to experience.
