Are you highly organised, people-focused, and confident working with payroll and HR systems? We are looking for a Payroll & HR Administrator to join our growing team. In this dual-role position, you will provide essential support to the Payroll Administrator and the wider HR function, ensuring smooth, accurate and confidential handling of key employee processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to build experience in a busy FMCG environment while contributing directly to our continuous improvement journey.
What You'll Do
- Support weekly and monthly payroll processing using BrightPay, Sage and NTD
- Provide holiday/absence cover for the payroll function
- Maintain HR systems and employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, absence and leaver processes
- Assist with time & attendance queries and reporting
- Prepare HR and payroll data, KPI reporting and management information
- Support recruitment administration and issue employee contracts
- Assist with training matrix updates and monitoring returns
- Take notes at meetings and prepare documentation
- Provide professional HR guidance across the business
- Support projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide reception cover when required
What We're Looking For
- Essential GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent)
- Experience in payroll processing and/or HR administration
- Strong IT skills, including Excel
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- High level of confidentiality and integrity
- Ability to prioritise in a busy, hands-on environment
Desirable
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards it)
- Experience with BrightPay, Sage, NTD or HRIS platforms
- Note-taking experience
- Recruitment or onboarding experience
- FMCG or manufacturing experience
