We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Production Stock Inventory Controller to join our team. Working with our production chefs, fulfilment team and operations you will be essential to our inventory processes. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, processing deliveries, conducting inventory checks, and ensuring efficient stock control measures. You will need to have experience in a similar role, ideally within a food-related setting and have a strong IT and analytical mindset. This role is known internally as Operations Associate - Inventory Controller.
In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract Night Premium at a rate of £4.25 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.
Expected salary - Salary up to £32,000 depending on experience.
Contract type - This position is a Permanent contract.
Working pattern/flexible working - Full time up to 40 hours per week across 5 days (some weekend work may be required at times and shifts may vary in the future).
Location - This role is based at our Dishpatch production site in North Greenwich, London, SE10 0AT.
Key responsibilities:- You will be accountable for managing the transfer of fresh and finished products to chilled, frozen, or ambient storage and ensuring production stock levels are accurate.
- You will be responsible for managing all storage spaces, ensuring efficient stock storage, including overseeing production inventory processes to ensure adequate stock levels and accurate stock takes.
- You will also assist Production Chefs with ingredient management in fridges and freezers.
- Inspecting all incoming goods for quality, quantity, temperature, and proper documentation.
- Applying and printing correct product labels in compliance with food safety and traceability standards.
- You will support the management of Dishpatch’s HACCP and related Food Management systems.
- You will work to develop clearer communications with Central Production Units (CPUs).
- Extensive experience of inventory management principles and stock control.
- Substantial numerical and analytic skills.
- A significant understanding of the principles of Food Safety.
- Significant experience in warehouse operations environment.
- Experience working in a production kitchen environment.
- Knowledge in food allergens and ingredients is a valuable asset.
- Experience in WMS preferably Apicbase.
