As a Campaign Activation Specialist at Waitrose Retail Media, you will be a vital force in launching high-impact paid media campaigns. This is a high-level coordination and administrative position. You will be responsible for the flawless execution of paid media initiatives, acting as the central point of contact for a dedicated activation channel. Owning the complete administrative lifecycle for media campaigns and coordinating the flow of creative assets, you will ensure every campaign is delivered on time and without error.

In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract Night Premium at a rate of £4.75 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.

Expected salary - Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience. Contract type - We are recruiting for two positions, one is permanent and the other is a secondment/Fixed Term contract until April 2027. Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. Location Bracknell Head Office; The team aim for 3 days per week in the office to connect. Interviews for this role are looking to be held early June.

Key responsibilities
  • Gathering and compiling necessary information directly from clients to accurately prepare briefs for media assets, ensuring all specifications are met.
  • Managing the end-to-end artwork lifecycle: adhering to pre-agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for delivery, coordinating supplier sign-off, managing amends with the channel, and ensuring final artwork approval before assets go-live.
  • Proactively managing deadlines and ensuring all campaigns successfully launch, followed by the delivery of accurate proof of execution to stakeholders.

You will be highly detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple tight deadlines in a busy, fast-paced environment. Success in this role requires strong communication skills to efficiently liaise with both internal Media Managers and external clients (answering queries and securing briefing details and approvals). An interest in the retail environment and media execution would be an advantage.

  • Proven experience in end-to-end media campaign execution and coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritise competing tasks effectively and adhere strictly to Service Level Agreements.
  • Proven proficiency with Google Suite.
  • Strong communication and liaison skills.
Desirable skills/experience you may have
  • Relevant experience working within a Retail Media environment or a comparable execution-focused media role.
  • Relevant experience working with the retail sector.
  • Experience using Salesforce software.
