Overview of the Supermarket Assistant role at Waitrose. You will provide partner-led service and contribute to a positive customer experience, helping to ensure shelves are well-stocked, orders are fulfilled, and store operations run efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Stock replenishment: keep shelves full and products in the right place, at the right time.
- Fulfil online customer orders for delivery to customers’ doors.
- Reduce wastage by following product due diligence and applying appropriate sell-by-date markdowns.
- Collaborate with the wider shop team to support checkout, Click & Collect, on-demand orders, and other duties as needed.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.

- Communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.
