We have an exciting opportunity for a Merchandiser in our Android and Wearables department. The role requires an experienced, analytical and commercial Merchandiser to plan and optimise the best range for customers within your category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately plan and forecast sales, stock, profit and SKU numbers for the Merchandising Manager and Trade Planning team.
  • Own the commercial and customer success of a product range through range planning and agile in‑season trading.
  • Manage the flow of stock, controlling inventory levels and open‑to‑buy for the office.
  • Maximise availability across channels while minimising inventory holding and supply‑chain costs.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising Manager, Buyer, Head of Merchandising, Supply Chain, Trade Planning, Sourcing, Trading & Product Operations, Design and Product Technology teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and brands.
  • Forecast assortment, sales, stock and margin KPIs, deciding Open‑to‑Buy parameters that meet commercial and customer targets.
  • Make season trading and volume decisions with buying, establishing commercial terms and product lifecycle with suppliers.
  • Roll up category‑wide analysis to support the Head of Buying and Head of Merchandising when required.
  • Act as People Manager for your Merchandising Assistants, providing coaching, development and feedback.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in forecasting & planning, WSSI management, influencing and stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrable experience in merchandising for tech and wearables.
  • Expertise in assortment planning and stock management.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tableau or similar analytical tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding of retail operations and supply‑chain management.
  • Proactive approach to learning and development.

Compensation and Employment

Salary range: £55,600 – £84,100 per year, depending on experience. Contract: Permanent. Hours: 35 per week. Location: London Central Office, Pimlico, 1 Drummond Gate, London SE1.
