As a Supermarket Assistant, you will support Waitrose by delivering the highest standard of partner‑led service and passion for food. Your work will help customers have a positive experience and keep them coming back, earning their trust and loyalty for a lifetime.

Responsibilities

  • Stock replenishment – keep shelves fully stocked and products in the right place at the right time.
  • Fulfil online customer orders and prepare them for delivery to customers’ doors.
  • Reduce wastage by following product due‑date policies and markdowns.
  • Support the shop team when required, including checkout support, Click & Collect orders and other on‑demand customer orders.
  • Maintain a safe, tidy working environment through general shopkeeping tasks.

Pay and Working Hours

  • Pay: £13.25 per hour. Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for shifts between 22:00 and 06:00. Pay applies to existing Partners on Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.
  • Application time restrictions: 18+ years of age required.
  • Hours of Work: Part‑time, 11 hours per week, working 2 shifts from Wednesday to Sunday between 06:30 and 23:00.
