As a Micro Space Analyst & Planner, you will play a critical role supporting the Space Planning team to deliver change that maximises the income generated from the shop estate. You will ensure effective and customer‑centric use of space and layout to convert footfall into sales whilst optimising the profitable outcome of each shop through judicious allocation of space to each department. You will collaborate with stakeholders, explore the potential of change, and deliver change through planning and stakeholder engagement activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Custodian of the accuracy of Branch Master Plans and associated data, including the data hierarchy.
  • Orchestrate the semi‑annual audit of CAD plans, oversee the critical path and collaborate with branch CWCs, and train staff in the audit process and CAD plan software.
  • Drive continuous improvement by ensuring centrally planned change is incorporated into the Master Plans in a timely manner.
  • Support the strategic direction of the physical estate, particularly for assortment and associated product services.
  • Marshaling data and conducting analysis to surface lessons learnt from changes to the estate and surfacing insight to further optimise space allocation.
  • Ensure the space and fixture architecture is fit for purpose and supports a credible and compelling product range in accordance with presentation standards.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience working in a commercial environment, using data and analytical skills across various data‑management and reporting platforms to model, extract and present insight.
  • Demonstrated understanding of physical estate retail and the considerations required to plan effective customer journeys and experiences.
  • Excellent planning, communication, organisation and orchestration skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in a trading and/or branch role.
  • Experience working with CAD plans and CAD planning software (training will be provided).

Location: London Head Office campus in Pimlico.

Salary & Contract: £30,000‑£45,000 per annum (dependent on experience). 12‑month secondment / fixed‑term contract. Hybrid working with core office days Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
