As a Supermarket Assistant, you will deliver exceptional customer service and support the smooth operation of the shop. You will help ensure customers have a positive experience that keeps them coming back, while maintaining a welcoming brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock replenishment – keep shelves full and items in the correct place.
- Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
- Reduce wastage by managing product due diligence and markdowns for items nearing sell‑by dates.
- Support the wider shop team, including checkout, Click & Collect and on‑demand orders.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment through general shop‑keeping tasks.
Essential Skills / Experience
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
- 19‑year‐to‑over applicant due to working time regulations.
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Experience in a customer‑facing role.
- Current knowledge and interest in food and drink trends.

Employment Details
- Pay: £13.00 (£13.25 After 90 days) with night premium of £3.75 per hour for hours 22:00‑06:00.
- Contract: Temporary.
- Hours of work: Part‑time (27 hours per week) across seven days, 3 shifts between 22:00‑08:00.
- Job level: Partnership Level 10.
