About the Role
As a Supermarket Assistant, you’ll help create a positive experience for customers on every visit, delivering partner‑led service and a passion for food that sets the Waitrose brand apart.
You are expected to go the extra mile to earn customer trust and loyalty.
Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour applies to any time worked between 22:00–06:00, including for existing partners enrolled in Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.
Due to working time regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over to apply.
Responsibilities
- Stock replenishment – keep shelves full and products in the right place at the right time.
- Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver directly to customers’ doors.
- Reduce wastage by following product due diligence and marking down items approaching sell‑by dates.
- Support the wider shop team as needed, including checkout support, managing Click & Collect orders, on‑demand customer orders, and more.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shop‑keeping tasks.
