Overview
As one of our Customer Delivery Drivers, you’ll deliver Waitrose produce and partner‑led service directly to customers’ doors. You’ll also support the shop team with stock replenishment and housekeeping during off‑route periods, contributing to the shop’s efficient operation.
Responsibilities
- Check your delivery routes for the day.
- Load and prepare your van, ensuring all orders are grouped for efficient delivery.
- Complete all vehicle safety checks, maintaining full road compliance, health and safety standards.
- Represent the Waitrose brand with outstanding customer service as your number one priority.
- Assist customers with their shopping and build rapport based on trust and service.
- Provide general shop‑keeping support when required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Full, valid B‑Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong time‑management abilities.
- Physical capability to lift crates and move cages.
- Ability to work independently, be self‑motivated and adaptable.
- IT literacy.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a driving role.
- Knowledge of chilled vehicles.

Pay: £14.31 per hour
Night premium (22:00‑06:00): £3.75 per hour
