About the Role
This is a really important front line role. You represent us with every single customer you meet and their impression of Waitrose & Partners is down to you. You should be passionate about providing the very highest levels of customer service and be able to use your initiative to deal with unexpected situations.
Any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract a Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour. The premium also applies to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Act as the friendly face of the business and deliver the unique blend of Waitrose quality and outstanding service to customers’ doors as a driver.
- Assist in the store with stock control and cashiering; may involve lifting heavy products.
- Maintain a good appreciation of health & safety.
- Participate in a driving assessment as part of the application process.
Qualifications
- Full valid UK manual driving licence with no more than six points.
- Minimum age 18 years or over.
- Successful licence and security checks.
- Desirable: previous driving experience.
- Desirable: knowledge of chilled vehicles.
