Ignite your career in the high-growth sector of Grocery Retail Media. As a Media Sales Manager, you will be part of the driving force behind maximising supplier investment in Waitrose. You will strategically engage with Buyers and Suppliers to create exciting full circle media campaigns utilising our exciting and innovative assets. Your primary focus is on skillfully negotiating and selling to Small suppliers.

The team aim for 3 days per week in the office to connect. Interviews for this role are looking to be held Mid April.

Key responsibilities
  • Build relationships with medium sized Suppliers to sell in Waitrose campaigns and tactical opportunities.
  • Decide which suppliers to give dedicated time to and which to provide pre-packaged opportunities, depending on spend commitment.
  • Maximising supplier funded investment in Waitrose within your category.
  • Support the L6 Media Sales Manager to unlock new opportunities.
  • Support your Media Sales Manager to deliver the Retail Media plan set out within your category to meet both the customer and supplier needs.
  • Ensuring your suppliers are given robust ROI feedback on campaign performance to support future investment decisions.
Essential skills/experience you’ll need
  • Experience working directly with brands and agencies to help build out and sell Retail Media activation plans for brands.
  • Consultative Media Sales experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong levels of stakeholder management - can influence vertically at all levels as well horizontally to deliver the best outcomes.
  • Comprehensive planning skills with an appetite for data.
Desirable skills/experience you may have
  • Minimum 3 years experience working for an FMCG brand, an agency dealing with FMCG clients or a FMCG retailer outside of The Partnership.
  • Experience of using Insight to build out media activation plans to meet brand objectives.
  • Digitally savvy, with experience of selling Onsite and Offsite Media solutions including Sponsored Products via ad tech platforms.
