About the role

Salary: up to £54,000, depending on skills and experience, plus overtime is readily available. Full time role, 37.5 hours per week on a 2‑week rota, plus working 1 in 2 Saturday mornings at premium overtime rate.

Week 1: Monday to Friday – 06:00‑14:00
Week 2: Monday to Friday – 13:30‑21:30

Contract type: This is a permanent role
Location: Magna Park (NDC)

Responsibilities:

  • To carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the on‑site e‑commerce light commercial fleet.
  • To carry out repair and maintenance of outlying commercial and light commercial vehicles for John Lewis and Waitrose branches and CDHs.
  • You’ll be aware of best practices and current commercial vehicle repair techniques, to deliver high‑quality repairs that are carried out in a cost‑effective manner and that the use of spare parts and consumables reflects the level of work carried out.

Essential Experience/Qualifications required:

  • City and Guilds Level 3 Vehicle technician or equivalent qualifications
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness

Desirable Skills:

  • IRTEC LGV C+E Driving Licence
