About the role

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be the go-to activator for your shop in local marketing, events and social impact activity.
  • Create and deliver local marketing events that identify and unlock the best opportunities for inspiring innovative customer engagement, driving footfall into your shop. Liaise with multiple stakeholders to execute exceptional events.
  • Proactively collaborate with the central events and social impact teams to deliver a calendar of activities.
  • Oversee the implementation of in‑branch charity fundraising and social impact activities, including Community Matters and the John Lewis Partnership Foundation.
  • Ensure all activities comply with Health and Safety procedures and GDPR.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for John Lewis.

Essential skills/experience you\’ll need

  • Experience in managing events and/or community plans.
  • Managing various stakeholders.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Prioritising, organising and planning multiple activities/projects simultaneously.

Desirable skills/experience you may have

  • Delivery of events within a retail environment.
  • Experience of delivering relevant marketing activity.
  • Understanding of social impact, local community needs, charities and/or community groups.
