As a Vehicle Technician in one of our workshops, you'll be repairing and maintaining our fleet of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy to both VOSA and Partnership standards. You'll be working with experienced technicians who will ensure you have the tools you need to succeed and excel in your role, with opportunities to develop your knowledge and progress your career.
Any time worked between 18:00 and 22:00 attracts an Evening Premium of £3.00 per hour, and any time worked between 22:00 and 06:00 attracts a Night Premium of £4.00 per hour.
Salary: The salary offered for this role is up to £54,000, depending on skills and experience, plus overtime is readily available.
Working Pattern: Full time role, 37.5 hours per week on a 2 week rota, plus working 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, at premium overtime rate.
- Week 1: Monday to Friday - 06:00-14:00
- Week 2: Monday to Friday - 13:30 - 21:30

Location: Coulsdon Customer Fulfilment Centre
• To carry out scheduled repair and maintenance of the on site E commerce light commercial fleet.
• To carry out repair and maintenance of outlying commercial and light commercial vehicles for John Lewis and Waitrose branches and CDHs.
You’ll be aware of best practices and current commercial vehicle repair techniques, to deliver high-quality repairs carried out in a cost-effective manner and that the use of spare parts and consumables reflects the level of work carried out.
Our Vehicle Workshop is growing and you’ll be working with many experienced Partners. Our current technicians will ensure you have all the tools you need to succeed and excel in your role, giving you the opportunities to develop your knowledge and progress your career. You’ll also be around to support the development of our apprentices within the workshop, sharing your knowledge and experience for the growth of the team.
Working in our Vehicle workshop is a fun and welcoming environment. As a co-owned business, all of our Partners work together to ensure all goals are achieved and that everyone in the team is a part of that success.
Essential Experience/Qualifications required:
- City and Guilds Level 3 Vehicle technician or equivalent qualifications
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness
Desirable Skills:
- IRTEC
- LGV C+E Driving Licence
- EV experience
