Retail Media is a key growth driver for the Partnership and a strategic priority across John Lewis. We are on an exciting transformation journey, evolving our capabilities to deliver more personalised customer experiences and create impactful Retail Media solutions for our strategic and emerging clients.

As a Retail Media Activation Assistant, you will support the Retail Media Activation Specialist and Manager to deliver a variety of supplier-funded campaigns across our Technology and Home categories, managing both annual strategic plans and ad hoc campaign activity. You will work closely with clients, the Retail Media sales team, channel specialists and Category Marketing teams to coordinate campaign delivery, ensuring activity is executed effectively, on time and against agreed objectives.

Your responsibilities will predominantly include managing onsite campaigns across a portfolio of Technology and Home clients, with opportunity to develop experience across additional channels as you grow in the role. You will monitor campaign performance, support the preparation of PCA reports and work with the Retail Media sales team to communicate results back to clients, helping to inform future plans and investment. You’ll be highly organised, proactive and keen to learn, with an interest in Retail Media and delivering strong outcomes for clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Managing execution of onsite placements to include briefing our design agency & online platforms, acquiring assets from our clients, and capturing proof of execution for reporting.
  • Supporting and activating other channels alongside Channel champions.
  • Support the delivery of the annual calendar of initiatives for all brands with guidance from more senior Marketing Activation Partners. This will include briefing booked activity into channels for activation.
  • Support the delivery of defined elements within an overall marketing campaign, including briefing, asset management, campaign set‑up, stakeholder coordination etc.
  • Work with brand/seasonal campaign teams to coordinate retail media participation in brand and seasonal campaigns.
  • Monitor performance of the retail media funded campaigns and support the preparation of PCA reports.
  • Support relationship building with key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively across the business to ensure delivery of agreed milestones/SLA’s.
  • Support the successful delivery of Retail Media campaigns in line with agreed objectives, timelines and service levels.
  • Report on the success of the activity and communicate this regularly.

Salary and Contract

  • Salary up to: £32,000.00 per annum based on skill and experience.
  • Contract type: Permanent position.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
  • Location: London, Pimlico Head Office; Hybrid – 2‑3 days per week in office.
