About the role
Do you love variety, flexibility and problem solving? Then come and join a unique in-house maintenance team, where no two days will be the same. As part of the maintenance team, you will support our Bracknell campus by delivering planned and reactive maintenance tasks in order to provide a safe and inviting customer and Partner environment. Your role plays a vital contribution to the success of the maintenance objective plan.
- Salary – £25,500 – £34,100 plus a 20% shift premium (calculated on the pay range minimum which is £23,892).
- Contract type – This position is a permanent contract.
- Working pattern – This role will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, alternating weeks of 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm.
- Call out – Weekly emergency call out cover and out of hours cover on a rota basis. This rotated on a 5 week basis.
- Overtime working – available subject to workload.
- Location – This role is based at our Bracknell Head Office.
- Please note, internally this role is known as Multi Skilled Tradesperson.
Key responsibilities
- Complete minor maintenance requests as directed by line manager.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) within capabilities and qualifications as assigned by Manager / Technician
- Maintain the standard of the campus buildings to the highest standard within financial commercial restraints.
- Report any maintenance issues outside of capabilities and qualifications through line manager hierarchy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- To support the business in delivering the Partnership carbon reduction programme
Essential skills/experience you\’ll need
- A good competency of DIY skills in the following: Locksmith, Carpentry, Plumbing, Decorating, Plastering, Tiling, Flooring repairs
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Competent working at height
- Competent IT skills to role requirements
