As a Local Events and Community Specialist for John Lewis, you’ll be delivering local events and community activities that enhance customer experience and uphold the branch’s commitment to community wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be the go‑to activator for your shop in local marketing, events and social impact activity.
- Create and deliver local marketing events that identify and unlock the best opportunities for inspiring innovative customer engagement, driving footfall into your shop.
- You’ll be liaising with multiple stakeholders to execute exceptional events.
- You will need to proactively collaborate with the central events and social impact teams to deliver a calendar of activities.
- Oversee the implementation of in‑branch charity fundraising and social impact activities, including Community Matters and the John Lewis Partnership Foundation.
- Ensure all your activities comply with Health and Safety procedures and GDPR.
- Act as a brand ambassador for John Lewis.
Essential Skills/Experience You’ll Need
- Experience in managing events and/or community plans.
- Managing various stakeholders.
- Customer service experience.
- Prioritising, organising and planning multiple activities/projects at the same time.
Desirable Skills/Experience You May Have
- Delivery of events within a retail environment.
