The predicted salary is between 36000 - 44000 £ per year.

Overview

Salary: The salary offered for this role is up to £54,000, depending on skills and experience, plus overtime is readily available.

Working Hours: Full time role, 37.5 hours per week on a 2 week rota, plus working 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, at premium overtime rate.

  • Week 1: Monday to Friday – 06:00-14:00
  • Week 2: Monday to Friday – 13:30 – 21:30

Contract type: This is a permanent role

Location: Magna Park (NDC)

What you\’ll be doing

  • You’ll be working on our large HGV lorries. It will be your job to ensure all vehicles are maintained to a safe and roadworthy standard to both VOSA and Partnership’s requirements.
  • Ensuring that relevant sections of all inspections, services and defect sheets are completed in compliance with our ‘O’ Licence obligations and that all spare requests and time books are completed daily.
  • You’ll be aware of best practices and current commercial vehicle repair techniques, to deliver high-quality repairs are carried out in a cost-effective manner and that the use of spare parts and consumables reflect the level of work carried out.

Essential Experience/Qualifications

  • City and Guilds Level 3 Vehicle technician or equivalent qualifications
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs
  • Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness

Desirable Skills

  • IRTEC
  • LGV C+E Driving Licence
