About the role

To deliver a market‑leading customer experience, achieving sales and customer service targets through a focus on outstanding customer service and execution of the agreed food & drink offer. To work as part of the Catering team, adding value to the efficient and profitable running of your operational area to achieve your personal, team and branch objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service by working flexibly as part of a team.
  • Ensure stock is replenished and displayed to required standards.
  • Adhere to hygiene and health & safety standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with fellow catering assistants to provide smooth service.
  • Control wastage and ensure proper rotation and expiry management of food.
  • Act promptly on any customer comments, using initiative to resolve them where possible and report issues or unsolvable day‑to‑day problems to the line manager.

Job Requirements

  • Experience working as part of a catering team to ensure smooth service.
  • Understanding of stock management and service requirements.
  • Effective communication and problem‑solving skills.

Desirable Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Previous catering experience.
  • Experience in a fast‑paced customer‑facing environment.
