We’re John Joseph Financial Services (JJFS) – a family-run financial planning firm that’s been guiding clients for over 40 years. We’re small enough to know each other well, and big enough to make a real difference in people’s lives. Our values are simple: to serve, to grow, and to care. If you want to be part of a team where everyone matters, where your ideas are heard, and where you can genuinely make a difference to both your team and the clients we serve, this is the place for you.
The Role
This is not a “just answer the phone” job. As our Executive Assistant, you’ll be the person who makes sure everything ticks along smoothly. You’ll keep the leadership team organised, help the office run like clockwork, and make life easier for everyone. In a small team, that means variety, responsibility, and plenty of chances to make an impact.

- Keep the team organised and supported so everyone can do their best work.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for the leadership team, managing diaries and scheduling meetings.
- Spot small problems before they become big ones.
- Answer calls and emails warmly and professionally.
- Assist with general administrative tasks and ensure back-office systems are up to date with relevant information.
- Ensure the office and meeting room is a welcoming space for both clients and team.
- Support the team with whatever’s needed – because that’s what we all do here.
What We’re Looking For
- Organised & Proactive: You like to stay ahead and keep things neat.
- Friendly & Professional: You’re approachable and discreet.
- Tech-Confident: Comfortable with Microsoft 365 and happy to learn new tools.
- Financial Services Experience: Helpful, but not essential – attitude matters most.
Why You’ll Love It Here
- A tight-knit team where everyone pulls together.
- A role that’s varied, interesting, and genuinely important.
- A culture that values doing the right thing.
- Competitive salary and benefits.
