About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist who is enthusiastic about collaborative, school‑based practice and is committed to working in a dynamic specialist setting.
The role will require attending different sites within the East SILC .
Newly qualified therapists with experience of working in Education and/or SEND will be considered
The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality assessment, intervention, and advice for learners with communication needs aged 3-19.
You will work directly within classrooms alongside teachers, support staff, families, and external professionals to promote meaningful communication development and ensure learners can fully engage in learning and school life.

- Working collaboratively with teaching staff to embed communication strategies into the curriculum.
- Contributing to classroom practice, EHCP targets, annual reviews, reports, and multidisciplinary planning.
- Providing training, guidance, and resources to school staff.
- Supporting the development of total communication approaches across the school.

- Experience of working with children and young people with SEND.
