We are looking an experienced,committedand enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistantto join our growing team and help make a genuine, lasting difference to learners’ lives.We have a vacancy for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for35 hours per weekat the East SILC, based at John Jamieson. We are wanting this appointment to work close with our behaviour team supporting with interventions and behaviour as well as supporting with teaching and learning . As with all appointments at the East SILC staff may be asked to work at any site within the organisation.
Our learners have a range of needs including autism, severe learning difficulties, hearing and visual impairments, physical difficulties, specific communication and language difficulties and associated social, emotional and mental health needs.
We require a skilledand resilientperson who is willing to learn, support teaching and learning and address the personal needs of our learners. You will need to be adaptable, a good communicatorand be able to work as part of our team.
