Outbound Supervisor in Welshpool

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Outbound Supervisor to join our fast-paced team at the John Hughes Group in our new parts distribution facility in Welshpool, Western Australia. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating your team of pickers, consolidators and drivers to deliver the best customer service in our industry.

What you\’ll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to‑day activities of the outbound team, including order processing, consolidating, invoicing and loading.
• Monitor productivity and KPIs, and implement strategies to optimise performance and meet delivery targets.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve any issues and ensure a seamless delivery process.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Provide training, coaching, and support to the outbound logistics team to develop their skills and capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a supervisor or Team Leader in a logistics or distribution environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficient in using warehouse management software. (Titan DMS preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the logistics industry.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to quality.
