We are looking for a motivated individual to assist our high performing technical team as a Quality Control Technician on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
We are looking to add a Quality Control Analyst to test the quality of raw materials and finished goods, supporting the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality products that meet both internal and customer specifications, and allowing for continuous improvement in this area of the business.
- Carry out routine laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods in line with company standards, including dyed samples for shade, consistency and quality. Prepare and handle samples in accordance with laboratory procedures.
- Support calibration checks, instrument verification, and environmental monitoring. Maintain accurate and timely records of all testing activities and results.
- Assist with investigations of non-conformances and deviations to identify root causes.
Relationships
- Work closely with the Product Development Manager to ensure timely testing and release of materials.
- Liaise with Production to communicate test results and resolve any quality issues.
Other
- Maintain laboratory housekeeping standards in line with Good Laboratory Practice.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for quality control processes.
- Assist with training of new QC staff as required.
Experience: Previous experience working in a laboratory environment, QC role or experience with dyes is desirable.
