We are a leading catering butcher in Fife, supplying many prestigious hotels and restaurants in the area. We are looking to recruit an apprentice butcher to be trained in all aspects of butchery, sausage manufacturing, bacon curing, pudding making, health and safety, and food safety. We will provide training in-house and appropriate level training certificates.
You will work alongside highly skilled master butchers and learn how to trim beef, pork, lamb, and poultry to ensure all orders are processed correctly. Initial duties and tasks will include:
- Meat preparation and cutting
- Burger manufacturing
- Sausage production
- Cleaning surfaces and equipment
- Receiving and storing deliveries in a factory environment
Please note that there is some heavy lifting involved.
