Overview
In this role you bridge Investment and Distribution to translate complex MAC and credit strategies into client-ready messaging. You support fundraising, client retention and strategic business development on a global basis, collaborating with Portfolio Managers and Global Distribution. You shape go-to-market plans, provide market insight, and steward high-quality client communications. The role offers a chance to influence product strategy, client education, and cross-functional collaboration at scale.

Responsibilities
- Act as subject-matter expert in Multi Asset Credit (MAC) and related credit strategies, distilling philosophy and trade-level insights for clients.
- Contribute to design and evolution of new products (MAC, ABF, SRT) and support go-to-market across institutional and retail platforms.
- Provide market commentary, thematic insights, and thought leadership to position strategies effectively.
- Develop expertise in portfolio construction, risk management frameworks, and performance measurement.
- Explain portfolio performance and investment decisions to investors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct competitive analysis to support fundraising and product development.
- Lead investor education and relationship meetings with Global Distribution and Client Service.
- Support sales strategy and due diligence in institutional and intermediary channels.
- Lead portfolio review meetings with clients and consultants; act as trusted adviser with detailed insights.
- Manage ongoing client communications, onboarding, reporting, and premium client experience.
- Serve as lead contact for technical client inquiries with regular market updates aligned to team insights.
- Partner with sales to identify new prospects, particularly North American institutional growth.
- Develop and deliver marketing materials, RFP responses, investor letters, and conference content.
- Identify cornerstone investors for new launches and tailor sales narratives to investor segments.
- Support fundraising across existing and new strategies; explore cross-selling opportunities.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, legal, compliance, operations, and client service to align messaging and execution.
- Lead process improvements in investor reporting, onboarding, and operational delivery.
Key requirements
- Experience as Portfolio Manager in fixed income or alternative credit, or senior consultant in credit/alternatives, or bank sales in alt/structured credit.
- Strong understanding of portfolio construction, risk metrics, performance attribution, and relative value analysis.
- Ability to discuss macro themes and security selection with institutional investors.
- Excellent presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- CFA charter holder or CAIA preferred.
- Deep knowledge of MAC and structured credit products.
- Strong content development, accuracy in strategic messaging and technical detail.
- Commercial mindset to support AUM growth through proactive client engagement.
