  • Manage UK and Irish corporation tax compliance and related reporting obligations, ensuring submissions and payments are accurate, compliant and made on time.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of the Group's R&D Expenditure Credit (RDEC) claims, working with external advisers and internal Finance, Commercial and Operational stakeholders as required.
  • Manage UK and Irish indirect tax compliance, including VAT returns and related filings, and monitor transactional VAT treatment across the business.
  • Manage employment tax and supply chain tax compliance matters, working with HR, Payroll and other internal stakeholders on areas including PAYE, IR35 and CCO.
  • Liaise with HMRC, Revenue and other relevant authorities on compliance matters and manage responses to routine queries and information requests.
  • Provide practical tax advice and training to internal stakeholders on relevant matters including corporation tax, VAT, CIS and PAYE.
  • Maintain and improve tax processes, controls and documentation to support compliance, governance and audit readiness.
  • Support the use and development of tax technology and automation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy and reporting capability.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, undertake technical research and help ensure the business remains up to date and compliant.
  • Work collaboratively with the Group Head of Tax, the other Tax Manager and the Tax Assistant to deliver tax compliance, reporting and advisory support across the Group.
  • Support the Group Head of Tax on project work, cross-functional initiatives, strategic planning and ad hoc technical matters as they arise.
