WHAT MAKES A SUCCESSFUL ARTS AND CULTURE PROGRAMMES MANAGER?

Our Programme Managers are fantastic organisers, facilitators and project managers. They are reliable listeners and relationship builders. They are on top of the work they are doing today, while keeping an eye on the week ahead, next month and even next year. They keep up abreast of theatre and print world, remaining alert to new commercial opportunities for the company. They are part of a team that supports each other proactively.

Acting as the conduit between the business and a varied arts customer base, the Programmes Account Manager's primary objective is to facilitate the publication of printed theatre programmes - from receiving an initial brief, organising and gathering content, receiving and proofing amendments right through to sign-off and beyond. This role is deadline-sensitive and customer service, time management, print knowledge and attention to detail are key.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Knowledge of the print process and experience of working in a printing environment with an emphasis on sustainability
  • Experience organising content and flatplanning/paginating in readiness for print
  • Awareness of the performing arts sector and of what makes an engaging theatre programme

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Experience of building lasting relationships with both external clients and interdepartmental colleagues
  • Demonstrable customer service aptitude
