We work with communities, partners and funders to create lasting positive impact through a variety of programmes including our signature ‘Grants for Good’ model. As we expand our reach, we are seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager to help grow our funding portfolio by collaborating with businesses who are keen to drive meaningful social and environmental change.
Role Purpose
The Strategic Partnerships Manager will play a central role in expanding our external reach by leading engagement with new businesses and securing investment for the Grants for Good programme. As we are seeking multi‑year funding from potential investors, it is essential that the Partnerships Manager brings strong experience in cultivating, nurturing and managing long‑term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Relationship Development
- Cultivate and manage multi‑year relationships with a range of businesses and philanthropic partners.
- Represent the charity strategically in cross‑sector forums, roundtables and working groups.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and regularly report progress against income targets.
- Relationship Management
- Provide high‑quality stewardship to existing partners, including impact updates, learning reports and strategic touchpoints.
- Work collaboratively with senior leadership to shape partnership propositions.
- Oversee governance elements of partnerships, such as MoUs, agreements and due diligence.
- Strategic Contribution
- Support the development and implementation of the organisation’s income strategy.
- Advise senior leadership on partnership opportunities, risks and ecosystem trends.
- Contribute insight to strategic decision‑making on grant‑making priorities.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of income, donor stewardship activities and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with any partnership requirements and maintain accurate records.
- Work collaboratively with the Communications and Impact Manager to produce high‑quality reports and insights for partners and internal stakeholders.

- Proven track record of securing income in a charity, foundation or relevant business‑development environment.
- Excellent relationship‑building and communication abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to assess opportunities and develop clear plans.
- Strong organisational skills, including managing complex multi‑year relationships.
- Understanding of the charity sector and principles of grant‑making.
- Experience developing corporate social responsibility (CSR) or philanthropic partnerships.
- Ability to facilitate multi‑stakeholder workshops or partnership meetings.
- Ability to interpret budgets and financial reports.
