We are supporting a well‑established organisation seeking a Senior Test Analyst with strong expertise in System Integration Testing (SIT) and System Testing to join a fast‑paced delivery environment. This role is highly technical and hands‑on, focused on ensuring the quality and reliability of complex integrated back‑end systems. You will be working across Windows‑based applications and enterprise databases, including Oracle, GCP BigQuery, and SQL Server, contributing to both manual and automated testing activities within a collaborative delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done to design and execute high‑quality test scripts.
- Create and maintain accurate test artefacts to support each software release.
- Prepare detailed test scripts covering system and integration‑level scenarios, validating expected business outcomes.
- Execute System Integration Testing and System Testing across multiple applications and data platforms.
- Identify, log, and track defects with clear evidence, ensuring timely resolution.
- Work closely with developers to improve testability and support rapid defect turnaround.
- Provide regular feedback to developers and test management on quality, risks, and progress.
- Support scoping and estimation of testing effort for new user stories and backlog items.
- Ensure all testing activity aligns with agreed schedules, quality standards, and delivery milestones.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of testing experience, particularly within System Integration Testing (SIT) and System Testing in complex environments.
- Strong manual testing background with exposure to automated testing approaches.
- Hands‑on experience testing applications using Oracle, SQL Server, and/or GCP BigQuery.
- Experience testing Windows‑based and database‑driven applications.
- Excellent defect management, documentation, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
