The MEP CAD Technician/Draughtsperson is responsible for producing and maintaining high-quality mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings to support engineering design and construction activities. The role involves developing coordinated 2D and 3D models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and industry standards, and supporting project teams through effective communication and technical input. This position plays a key role in translating engineering concepts into detailed, buildable drawings, contributing to the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Ability to use AutoCAD & Revit
- Produce coordinated 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit with detailed sections and elevations, to assist engineers with installation works onsite
- Update and combine detailed MEP drawings using AutoCAD, including layout plans, schematics, and diagrams for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ensure that MEP drawings are precise, fully aligned with JGM drawing standards (drawing naming convention, file name, layer structure etc.) and comply with all local standards
- Update and revise drawings as needed based on site modifications
- Participate in progress review meetings to provide input, feedback and suggestions for improvement to MEP drawings
- Ensure that all drawings changes are communicated effectively to other team members and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a high standard of drafting quality, ensuring accuracy in all drawings and minimising errors
- Conduct site visits as required to gather data for drawing preparation/revision
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an AutoCAD/Revit role
- Full UK Driving Licence
- MEP Qualification
