The Role
This apprenticeship provides an excellent opportunity to begin a career within the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. As an Air Conditioning Engineer Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced engineers on projects across Scotland while completing your formal training. You will gain hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and servicing air conditioning and refrigeration systems in a variety of commercial and industrial environments, developing the practical skills and technical knowledge required to become a qualified engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist engineers with the installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Support the servicing and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
- Learn to interpret technical drawings and installation specifications.
- Assist with testing and commissioning of systems.
- Maintain safe working practices and follow company health and safety procedures.
- Attend college or training provider as part of the apprenticeship programme.
- Develop practical skills and industry knowledge through on-site experience.
