Due to expanding our renewable energy division we are now looking for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a qualified electrician with Solar PV experience to work on high-quality installations across the UK, with limited nationwide travel (1–2 times per month).
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, testing, and commissioning of Solar PV systems
- Carrying out electrical works in line with current regulations and industry standards
- Completing testing and inspection paperwork accurately
- Fault finding, maintenance, and remedial works where required
- Working independently and as part of a wider installation team
- Occasional nationwide travel for project-based work (1–2 trips per month)
Requirements
- ECS Gold Card
- Proven experience as an electrician working on Solar PV installations
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance
- Willingness to travel nationwide occasionally
- Solar PV-specific qualifications or certifications
- Experience working on commercial renewable energy projects
