Senior Platform Product Manager
Location: London, England, United Kingdom.
Copper is a leading provider of institutional digital asset infrastructure, combining secure custody, advanced settlement solutions, and prime services through state‑of‑the‑art Multi‑Party Computation (MPC) technology. As the Senior Platform Product Manager you will be at the heart of our platform operations, ensuring that our clients can manage digital assets securely, efficiently, and in compliance with global regulatory requirements.
Role Purpose You will own critical platform operations across global Copper entities, enhancing platform features to safeguard and enable secure business operations through effective access management.
Responsibilities
- Define requirements and collaborate with engineering to maintain best practice for platform authentication and authorisation.
- Collaborate with On‑boarding and Operations to determine platform requirements for organisation and user lifecycle management.
- Partner with IT Security, Compliance and Risk to support audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for platform permissioning, entitlements and security controls.
- Partner with the Technical Content Manager to maintain and document access policies, standards, and procedures.
- Support incident investigations, remediation and risk assessments.
- Review and recommend improvements for user experience, efficiency, scalability and security.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline access management processes, including integration with other platforms such as Salesforce.
Skills and Experience
- 5+ years professional experience in platform analysis, with at least 2+ years in a senior/lead capacity.
- Detail‑oriented and process‑driven with strong sense of ownership.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication and documentation skills; capable of translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Knowledge or strong interest in digital assets and automation opportunities of blockchain technology.
- Desired to improve client lifecycle management through appropriate control processes and integrations.
- Prior experience in financial services, fintech, or digital assets.
- Exposure to audit processes and regulatory reviews for digital platforms.
- Knowledge of RBAC/ABAC/ReBAC frameworks desirable.
- Knowledge of modern policy engines (OPA, Cedar, SpiceDB/Zanzibar) desirable.
- Knowledge of IAM solutions (Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, Ping Identity).
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, etc).
