We are seeking to appoint a passionate, dedicated and motivated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages with excellent subject knowledge, who can combine academic knowledge and achievement with a passion for the subject to boost learning outcomes. Spanish would be your primary language with the ability to teach French being desirable. Experience teaching Spanish at A Level and KS4 is essential.
You’ll inspire students to achieve their full potential in Modern Foreign Languages, using a passion for language to deliver high quality and engaging, interactive lessons that boost both written and spoken capabilities of students. A focus on learning and assessment and wider curriculum requirements is key, as well as the ability to utilise your knowledge to positively impact progress within the subject.
Job requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
- Relevant specialist qualifications and subject experience (e.g. a language or language teaching degree)
- Understanding of curriculum requirements for MFL
- Sound knowledge of delivery of both oral and written aspects of MFL to ensure consistent levels of speaking and writing are achieved within the classroom
