Position: Transit Driver
Location: Park Royal, NW10 7PG
You will be working as part of a team within a busy depot. Your role is to deliver and collect small tools, compressors and trailer mounted small plant within the M25 and surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities
- Work well within a team.
- Ensuring your vehicle is kept in a clean roadworthy condition at all times.
- Carrying out a Daily Defect Inspection every morning prior to the vehicle leaving the depot
- Prioritise a heavy workload whilst ensuring all work is maintained to a high standard.
- Planning manageable delivery routes in conjunction with the office.
- Undertake administration tasks and complete all paperwork accurately.
- Work well under pressure and retain a positive attitude to customer service.
- Maintain Health and Safety to Company and HSE regulations.
Skills
- Experience of working with construction plant and tools is an advantage
- Analytical approach to problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- UK driving licence with Towing required
- Forklift Truck licence an advantage.
- Competitive salary according to experience.
