We are currently recruiting for a Class 1 ADR Driver to join our newly opened Wakefield depot. In this flexible role, you will be required to work across a range of delivery vehicles to support the growth of the new depot. This may include HIAB, 4×4 and fuel tanker vehicles. The prime responsibility of this position is ensuring the safe and prompt delivery of equipment and fuel to a wide range of clients across the region, whilst representing the business’s core values in all customer interactions. On occasion, there may also be a requirement to cover driving positions at our other Power depots to meet the needs of the business. This role comes with a competitive salary, 25 days paid annual leave plus Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering equipment and fuel to customers across a range of industries
  • Providing a high level of customer service at all times
  • Complying with all relevant procedures and safe systems of work
  • Ensuring all proof of delivery procedures are carried out via PDA device
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance
  • Supporting the Depot Manager and wider team with additional duties as required to deliver a first-class service to our clients

Required skills and experience

  • Full CPC Licence
  • Class 3 ADR Licence
  • Digi Tachograph Card
  • HIAB experience required
  • HIAB Wagon & Drag experience beneficial but not essential
  • Fuel tanker training and qualifications will be provided
