We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV ADR Fuel Tanker Driver to join our South West depot in Portbury, Bristol. Working in our fuel tanker, you will be responsible for the safe and prompt delivery of fuels to a wide range of clients across the region. There will be a requirement to complete fuel deliveries in our 4×4 vehicles towing equipment when needed. This role comes with a competitive salary and 25 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays.

Responsibilities include (but are not restricted to) the following:

  • Deliver fuel safely and efficiently to customers across a range of industries
  • Always provide a high level of customer service
  • Comply with all relevant procedures and safe systems of work
  • Ensure proof of delivery paperwork is completed on all deliveries
  • Maintain full compliance with ADR and health & safety procedures
  • Complete all relevant delivery and vehicle paperwork accurately
  • Willingness to take on other duties as and when required by the business, supporting the Fuel Manager, Depot Manager and the team to deliver first class service to our clients at all times

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Valid Class 2 (category C) licence (required)
  • ADR Certificate – Class 3 in tanks (required)
  • CPC Driver Qualification (required)
  • Full understanding of Drivers Hours & WTD Regulations (required)
  • Clean Driving Licence
  • Towing Experience
  • Tanker experience beneficial
  • Strong focus on safety and professionalism
  • Good communication and customer service skills
