John F Hunt Hire Centre’s have a vacancy for a small tools fitter. Experience is required.

Duties

  • Service repair and maintenance of all types of small tools, working with electric 110v and 240v, Diesel, Petrol and 2-stroke engines.
  • Accurate completion of service and maintenance records.
  • Liaising directly with customers.
  • This is predominately depot based, although on occasion you may be required to attend site for breakdowns.
  • To participate in training programmes where required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of servicing and repairing electric, diesel, petrol and 2-stroke machines.
  • PAT Testing experience is required.
  • NVQ in tool maintenance or equivalent preferred.
  • A working knowledge of diesel, electric, and hydraulic systems is essential to be considered for this role.
  • Analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills required, both verbal and written.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
