An exciting new opportunity has arisen within our aftersales department at Forestry UK. We are looking for a skilled engineer to work in a high paced, customer focussed workshop. The prime responsibilities for this role are the maintenance and repair of John Deere forestry equipment. Previous experience of forestry, agricultural, heavy goods or plant equipment is essential. You will be able to demonstrate exceptional team skills, a degree of flexibility and the ability to learn complex machine systems.
Primary Responsibilities & Tasks- Responsible for field and workshop maintenance & repair of John Deere Forestry equipment.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships.
- Experience as an engineer.
- Time served apprenticeship or National diploma in Forestry, Agriculture or Construction (or equivalent experience is advantageous).
- Knowledge of hydraulic & electrical systems.
- Full UK driving license.
- Knowledge of IT systems.
- Excellent time keeping.
- Flexible.
