An exciting opportunity has arisen within our aftersales department for a Service Technician. The prime responsibilities for this role are the maintenance and repair of John Deere forestry equipment.
Suitable applicants would be time served engineers with considerable post apprenticeship experience in the forestry, agricultural or construction sectors. Applicants should possess knowledge of hydraulic and electronic control systems and hold a full UK Licence.
Responsibilities- Responsible for field and workshop maintenance & repair of John Deere Forestry equipment
- Extensive travelling with potential for staying away
- Builds and maintains customer relationships
- Time served apprenticeship or National diploma in Forestry, Agriculture or Construction, and/or experience as an engineer
- Knowledge of hydraulic & electrical systems
- Full UK driving license
- Knowledge of IT systems
- Excellent time keeping
- Flexible
- Understanding of John Deere products and the forestry sector is an advantage, but not essential
- Ability to learn quickly
