We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Forestry Division, based in Perth. This is a key role where you’ll drive operational excellence and support the continued success of our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, supporting and developing a nationwide team of engineers and all Workshop and Field Operations throughout North Scotland and will hold a place on the management group and be responsible for the continued growth of the company’s aftersales business. Candidates are required to live within commuting distance.
Primary Responsibilities & Tasks
- Responsible for all field and workshop activities in area of responsibility
- Responsible for the delivery of Service Department budget and other Key Metrics
- Pursues new possibilities to improve aftersales service, including customer visits
- Monitors high-level product problems/concerns and seeks commitment from appropriate departments/units so that necessary actions can be taken
- Develop and manage a team to achieve expected individual and department performance metrics and goals
What skills you need
- Experience and/or knowledge of the Forestry industry (desirable but not essential)
- Experience of leading a modern customer support organisation in a dynamic and demanding environment to provide market leading customer service
- Experience of managing a team of high performing engineers
- Ability to utilise modern business systems
- Knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation
- Full UK Driving Licence
