LOCATION: You can be based anywhere on patch. This could include the central belt of Scotland, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds for example. But this is not an exhaustive list. You must be able to travel by car.

We need an experienced Sales Manager to lead our external sales teams acrossScotland, the north of England and the Midlands. Somebody who can join the team and keep us on track and has the ambition to grow even further. This role sits on JDPs Senior Management Team and reports directly to the national Head of Sales. You’ll be an important part of feeding market intelligence back into the business.
You will need:
- product knowledge and experienceof the civil drainage industry or closely associated industry
- strong leadership skills
- proven track record of successful sales yourself
- management and development of an external sales team that have both met and exceeded their sales targets with your support and guidance
- experience of winning with both existing and new customers
- commercial and financial acumen to maximise profitability and growth
- to be a natural relationship builder with strong business development skills
- be able to travel regularly across the regions you manage (a company car is part of the package)
You will be responsible for the performance of all sales activities across your geographic region. You\’ll be confident in promoting JDP\’s market profile and securing increased market share. Your team will love working for you and be highly motivated and supported by you.
