About the Role
Drivers are at the forefront of our Company, delivering plastic pipes and associated products to customers across Hereford and the surrounding areas. Alongside delivery work, you will play a key part in the day‑to‑day running of the yard, supporting operational efficiency and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving & Deliveries
- Safely and efficiently operate a 3.5T pick‑up vehicle
- Ensure complete and on‑time delivery of all customer orders
- Follow all driver legislation, including road safety and driving hours regulations
- Plan efficient daily routes to meet customer and operational demands
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe yard environment
- Support stock checks and warehouse tasks
- Work collaboratively with the small yard team to ensure smooth daily operations
Profile Required
- Full UK driving licence
- Good understanding of Health & Safety in a working environment
- Knowledge of driving hours rules, regulations, and general driver procedures
- Ability to plan and follow efficient delivery routes
- A hardworking, adaptable, and helpful approach — willing to learn all aspects of our operations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- FLT (Forklift Truck) experience is an advantage
