We are actively looking to appoint a 18T HGV Driver with HIAB experience to join our successful team in Broxburn. If you are a hardworking, flexible individual who enjoys working as part of a team this may be the perfect opportunity for you! Please note due to growth we will be relocating our Broxburn branch to Uphall in the near future.
Our drivers are customer-facing as they deliver civils and drainage products to customers in Broxburn and surrounding areas. Duties will include:
- Efficient & safe operation of the vehicle
- Complete & on time delivery of orders to JDP customers
- Comply with all vehicle and drivers legislation
- Represent JDP at point of delivery, providing excellent customer service and upholding JDP's strong reputation.
Candidate Profile:
- Eager and supportive individual willing to learn all aspects of our operations
- Possession of a Class C License and HIAB
- Some Driver CPC training completed
- Digital driving license (tachograph card)
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in a workplace
- Comprehensive understanding of driver procedures, including 'driving hours rules & regulations'
- Ability to plan the most efficient routes for the daily delivery schedule
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities
Profile Must hold Class C licence. Having FLT experience would be beneficial.
