We are looking for a Social Media Executive to join the Marketing team.

About the role

  • Manage the day to day of all John D Wood & Co. and associated brands social media accounts
  • Work with the wider marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies for our business units.
  • Capture engaging content: shoot and edit high-quality, on-brand visuals and videos for all social media platforms.
  • Develop campaign concepts: Brainstorm and execute creative ideas for social media campaigns that resonate with our audience.
  • Be camera-ready: Represent the brand by confidently appearing in social content when needed.
  • Schedule posts: Manage posting calendars and ensure timely content delivery across all platforms.
  • Maintain and update profiles: Keep our social media profiles polished, relevant, and reflective of the John D Wood & Co. brand.
  • Monitor trends: Stay updated on the latest social media trends to keep our content fresh and competitive.
  • Reviewing progress and reporting against key channel metrics and targets daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc, as required.
  • Job Requirements
  • More than 2 year’s hands-on experience in a marketing role.
  • Experience of running successful social media campaigns from conception to execution either at an agency, or a fast paced client-side environment.
  • Experience with editing videos and scheduling posts.
  • A team player and self-starter who feels comfortable working autonomously in a small team as well as fitting into a large-scale organisation.
  • Highly organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Your capacity to take initiative and seek responsibility.
  • Your enthusiasm and motivation to achieve.
