Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and driven Area Director to oversee our Sales Aspire offices.

As an Area Director, you will lead and oversee management of branches and colleagues within John D Wood & Co .

You will work alongside the Lettings Area Director to create a fantastic culture for your teams.

You will be responsible for delivering against performance and financial targets set, and your success will be delivered through engagement and collaboration amongst your teams, as well as strong results.

Your role will involve

  • Acting as a brand ambassador at all times. You will lead by example, mentor, manage and train your teams to be the best in the industry.
  • Supporting the company vision and contribute to the future direction of the business.

Your role is to ensure your teams understand the strategic direction of the business, and work to deliver excellent results.

  • Coach, develop and effectively manage all employees to ensure that performance is optimised across the board
  • Oversee all branches in the region, provide clear career paths for employees, and manage the P + L for the region.
  • Ensure employee engagement is maximised through action planning, pro-active recruitment, minimising attrition and driving retention of your teams
  • Manage, monitor and report on the area's performance against agreed key financial business indicators on the area's P&L and against set performance metrics to ensure delivery of income targets
  • Take appropriate action to support branches that require extra direction, and manage overall performance effectively.
  • Grow market share significantly by adopting pro-active working processes and identifying business growth opportunities.

  • Demonstrable experience of building and leading high performing teams in fast paced and demanding environments
  • Been a valued member of high performing teams with a first class approach to customer service
  • Proven ability to influence, shape and lead significant change
  • Inspirational leadership ability, with approachability and humility
  • High levels of P&L accountability and commercial exposure
  • The Area Director role will offer a competitive basic salary and substantial OTE, as well as a company car and generous staff benefits.
